Sarah is currently a second year masters student in the International Education Policy program, specializing in Peace Education. Her research interests span across a variety of areas including alternative development, non-formal and climate change education, and holistic and contemplative education. She is particularly passionate about exploring the transformative potential of play for children facing conflict and crisis with a specific focus on understanding its profound impact on their well-being and resilience. In addition to her interests, she is actively immersed in exploring educational methodologies and making connections within Colombia and across Latin America. 

 

Fun fact: She loves bird watching and has a collection of paintings of the regional birds from the places she visits from around the world.
