We encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds and who can contribute significantly to furthering these goals. Priority will be given to UMD graduates, but all candidates will be considered.

The teaching load for this position is three courses each year, two undergraduate courses for the LACS minor and certificate programs, and one graduate seminar for the LACS graduate certificate program.

The successful candidate is expected to be an active participant in the Latin American and Caribbean Studies research community. In particular, the successful candidate is expected to work with LACS graduate students.
