The Department of American Studies, Department of Women's Studies, and Latin American Studies Center are co-sponsoring the Poto Mitan Film Screening and Discussion on Monday, November 30, 2009.

Poto Mitan is a documentary film following the lives of five Haitian women.  The film offers a perspective on globalization, Haiti’s contemporary political/economic crisis, and the resilient women challenging this system
