Dr. Taylor C. Woodman is an Assistant Clinical Professor of International Education Policy in the College of Education. He is a critical internationalization scholar that uses his research, teaching, and practice to challenge dominant assumptions of international education exchange. Hisresearch interests include global learning, academic diplomacy, internationalization of higher education, digital internationalization, qualitative methodology, and Cuban education.He has taught at the undergraduate and graduate level for the last decade at DC area schools. He leads the Cuba study abroad fieldwork programthat has taken over 100 UMD students throughout the island.He currently also serves as the Associate Director for Global Faculty Learning in UMD's G[lobal Learning Initiatives|https://marylandglobal.umd.edu/global-learning-all/global-learning-home]. In this role, he supports the university's strategic internationalization priorities by collaborating with the instructional community to integrate global learning content into the university's curriculum and programming.
